We've got a small-batch coffee coming through the roastery with a story worth sharing.
This lot comes from the Uddeyi Farmers Group, a community of smallholder growers in the Tima area of Shakiso, Ethiopia's Guji region. The farmers work land above 2,000 meters, much of it organic because it has been farmed that way for generations. No shortcuts or chemicals, just knowledge passed down over time.
We source this coffee through our partners at Sookoo Coffee, who have worked directly with the Uddeyi group since 2019, building relationships that help small farms bring their coffee to roasters like us.
The cherries are naturally processed and dried whole on raised beds for several weeks, bringing out bright berry sweetness and a wine-like depth in the cup.
